A Dhaka court today (June 15) fixed July 16 for the hearing on charge framing in 11 cases lodged against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and others. 

Today was fixed for her appearance before the court, but Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md. Asaduzzaman reset the date after Khaleda's lawyer submitted an application.

Of the 11 cases, 10 were filed in the first three months of 2015 over arson attacks, while the other one was filed with a Dhaka court on charge of making seditious comments on freedom fighters and martyrs of the Liberation War.

Apart from Khaleda Zia, the other accused in the vandalism cases include Amanullah Aman, Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel and Sultan Salauddin Tuku.
