Prime Minister and Awami League (AL) President Sheikh Hasina will meet with the leaders of AL-led 14-party alliance today (July 19) after around 16 months.

She will chair the meeting slated to begin at 7.30 pm at Gana Bhaban, the Prime Minister's official residence in the capital.

A press release was issued in this regard.

Amir Hossain Amu, spokesperson and coordinator of the central 14-party, has requested all the party leaders to attend the meeting in time.
   
Alliance sources said that the meeting will discuss about the next general election to decide what to do to counter BNP and its allies in the one-point movement to oust the government.

Sheikh Hasina will also discuss with the alliance leaders how to reactivate the alliance to deal with the current situation and the crisis in public life.

Apart from some policymakers of Awami League, President and General Secretary or Convener and Joint Convener of the allied parties will attend the meeting.
