Three BNP associate bodies – Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal – will hold a youth rally at the Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Saturday (July 22). 

Jubo Dal President Sultan Salahuddin Tuku said it to the reporters after a meeting with the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner on Thursday (July 20) night.

“Through discussion with the police, we have decided to hold our youth rally at Suhrawardy Uddyan,” he added. 

Tuku said the DMP asked them to submit an application for using the venue for their youth rally.

“We have already submitted the application,” he added. 

He also claimed that they have already held five youth rallies in five divisions with the cooperation of the administration.

Apart from Tuku, Dhaka South BNP Convener Abdus Salam, Dhaka North BNP Convener Amanullah Aman and Chhatra Dal President Kazi Rawnaqul Islam Shrabon also met DMP Commissioner Khandker Golam Faruq at his Bailey Road office.
