Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and all like-minded parties and allies will hold mass processions in the capital today (August 11).

Dhaka north and south city units of BNP will bring out separate processions at 2 pm demanding next general election under the non-partisan caretaker government after Jumma prayers.

Dhaka city north unit will bring out the mass procession from Badda Subastu Tower to Abul Hotel, while BNP south unit will bring the procession from Kamalapur Stadium to Malibagh Rail Gate.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will led the Dhaka north unit procession while BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chaudhury, vice-chairman Altaf Hosen Chaudhury, Abdul Awal Mintu, advisor to the BNP chairperson Jaynul Abedin Faruk, among others, will present in the procession.
