BNP Commercial Affairs Secretary and former lawmaker Salahuddin Ahmed is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital in the capital. 

Earlier today, he was moved from the coronary care unit (CCU) to the ICU as his blood pressure is rapidly dropping, BSMMU sources said. 

On August 3, he was arrested by the Detective Branch (DB) of police in a case filed over the clash during sit-in programme in Jatrabari.
