BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will be taken to the hospital again on Thursday (February 8) for a physical examination.

Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, vice chairman of the BNP and personal physician to Khaleda Zia confirmed the matter today. 

Earlier on January 11, the former prime minister Khaleda Zia arrived at her residence, Firoza, in Gulshan in the capital, where she continues to receive medical care based on doctors' recommendations.

Khaleda Zia's physical condition has improved since her return home after a 156-day stay in the hospital.

She has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung, heart, and eye problems.
