A writ has been filed at the High Court (HC) seeking directive for compensating the family members of 13 BNP leaders, activists' who died inside jail.

At the same time, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Legal Affairs Secretary of BNP, sought international standard investigation over their death incident.

Justice Mustafa Zaman Islam and Justice Md. Atabullah’s bench may hear to write.

Earlier, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi in a press conference alleged that in last three months 13 BNP leaders and activists died due to torture in the jail.
