Dipu Moni arrested in Dhaka

Former social welfare minister Dipu Moni was arrested in Dhaka’s Baridhara area on Monday evening.

Confirming the matter, sources at the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said she was taken to the Detective Branch office on Minto Road.

The former minister will be produced before a Dhaka court on Tuesday.

It could not be known immediately in which case she would be shown arrested.
