DHAKA: Jamaat-e-Islami announced a nationwide demonstration for Monday demanding release of its all detained leaders including the secretary general Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed before holy Ramadan, to begin on June 18.

Jamaat made the announcement through issuing a press statement signed by its acting secretary general Dr Shafiqur Rahman on Saturday.

In the statement, Dr Shafiqur called the party leaders and activists to observe the protest programs peacefully across the country.
