KHULNA: Former speaker and also BNP founding member Advocate Sheikh Razzak Ali died at his residence in Khulna district on Sunday noon.

He was 87.

Khulna metropolitan city unit BNP president Nazrul Islam Manju confirmed the matter to banglanews at 3:08pm.

He said that Razzak Ali died at his Farazi Para residence at 2:445pm in the day.

The former speaker had been suffering from cancer for a long, he added.
