DHAKA: Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) detained four people on suspicion of Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from city’s Uttara area.

During the drive conducted on Sunday midnight, 26 jihadi books, three passports, five mobile handsets, 4,000 Pakistani Rupees, 1500 Indian Rupees, 1300 Bahraini Dollars, 1600 Jordan dollars were recovered from the detainee’s possession.
    
The detainees are Idris Sheikh, Mukul Sharif, M Salam, M Mostafa Zaman.

DMP media and public relations department deputy commissioner (DC) Muntasirul Islam informed the matter to media.
