DHAKA: Namaz-e-janaza of Dhaka city Awami League (AL) acting president MA Aziz will be held in front of Awami League’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in city after maghrib prayers Saturday evening (January 23).

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to pay tribute to the fellow leader at 4:00pm.

PM’s press wing said the premier will go to the residence of MA Aziz to show her sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Earlier at 1:10pm, the AL leader breathed his last at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in city.

He had been suffering from heart decease for a long.

His relatives said he was admitted to the hospital this morning as he fell seriously ill at his Old Dhaka residence.
