DHAKA: BNP announced its program to celebrate country’s Independence Day on March 26.

The programs were announced after a party meeting held at BNP central office in city’s Nayapaltan area on Monday (March 21).

BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir chaired the meeting.

According to the program, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will place floral wreaths at National Mausoleum at Savar and at the grave of former president and also BNP founder Ziaur Rahman at city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area in the morning of the day.

The party will organize a discussion on the spirit of the day in the afternoon.
