DHAKA: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir remarked that the party will stage rally on November 7 even if they do not get permission.
The senior leader came up with this assertion while taking to journalists after laying floral tribute to the grave of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman at city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area on Friday (November 4).
“It is expected that the ruling AL-led government will give permission showing respect to democracy”.
Regarding Nasirnagar incident, the secretary general stated that that the situation would not get worse if the government took immediate actions after the incident.
Senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, joint secretary generals Khairul Kabir Khokon and Fazlul Haque Milon, Secchasebok Daal president Shafiul Bari Babu, general secretary Abdul Quader Jewel and organizing secretary Yasin Ali were present among others.
