DHAKA: BNP demanded judicial probe into the attack on minority people in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district.
Party vice-chairman Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed made the demand at a press conference held at party chief’s Gullshan political office in city on Saturday (November 5).
“We are demanding an investigation committee led by a High Court justice to find out the reasons behind Nasirnagar attacks.”
He further said that the expulsion of ruling Awami League’s local unit men over the incident has proved their involvement in the attacks on minority people in Nasirnagar.
According to the BNP leader, a judicial investigation is needed to give the nation a clear image over the incident.
