The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Saturday announced the itinerary for Ireland’s upcoming tour of Bangladesh, which includes a two-match Test series followed by three Twenty20 Internationals in November and December.
Ireland will arrive in Bangladesh on November 6 and open their campaign with the first Test at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS) starting November 11. The second Test will begin on November 19 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Dhaka.
This will mark the first full Test series between Bangladesh and Ireland. The two sides have met in the longest format only once before, in April 2023 at the SBNCS, where Bangladesh claimed a seven-wicket victory.
Following the Tests, the action will shift to Chattogram for a three-match T20I series at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium (BSSFLMRCS) on November 27, 29, and December 2.
