NATORE: A district court has awarded life term imprisonment to a man on charge of killing his wife at Singra upazila in Natore.

Judge of District and Sessions Court in Natore Md Rezaul Karim delivered the verdict on Sunday (September 24).

The court also fined the convict Tk. 10,000, in default, six months more imprisonment. The court, however, acquitted another accused in the case.  

The convict is Ayub Ali alias Yob, 36, son of Ledu Pramanik of Bildahar village under the upazila.
