DHAKA: The High Court has asked the authorities concerned to run mobile courts to control price of masks and other necessary items against coronavirus outbreak.
The bench also asked to remain vigilant so that none can store up these necessary items and check out certificates of those who enter the country and give certificates to those wanting leave the country at all airports.
An HC bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader gave three verbal directives in this regard on Monday (March 9).
The bench gave the verbal directives after a report by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) was placed before the court.
Deputy Attorney General ABM Abdullah Al Mahmud Bashar placed the report at the court.
Earlier on March 5, the HC bench comprising of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahasan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader gave three verbal directives to Health Ministry and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) about what kinds of preventive measures the government had taken to fight coronavirus in the country.
In an outbreak of the coronavirus, the death toll worldwide reached 3,831 as 26 more died on Monday (March 9). Some 148 new cases of infection were confirmed, bringing the total to 110,098. Of them 62,302 were recovered.
