NAOGAON: A Naogaon court on Wednesday (October 04) awarded life term imprisonment to four people, including two brothers, in a murder case at Mohadevpur upazila in the district.

Judge of the Additional District and Sessions Court-1 in Naogaon Md Shariful Islam delivered the verdict.

The court also fined the convicts Tk. 10,000 each, in default, one month more imprisonment.  

The convicts are Babar Alam Khan of Jointopur village under Cheragpur union of the upazila, his brother Abdul Latif Khan, Abdul Mannan Mandal and Faizul Islam of the same village.

Another accused in the case Ramzan Ali was acquitted from the charge.

According to the case statement, Nabib Uddin of the village was killed by the convicts on March 4 in 2014.
