NARAIL: A district court in Narail on Tuesday (October 10) awarded life term imprisonment to two drug dealers.

Judge of the District and Sessions Court Abul Bashar Munshi delivered the verdict.

One of the accused, Abdul Azim was absent in court.

The lifers are- Mahbub Hossain Raju, 24, son of Abul Hossain of Gadkhali area of Jhikragacha upazila, and Abdul Azim, 30, son of Noor Mohammad of the same village.

Earlier in December in 2012, police in drive seized 89 bottles of phensidyl from the duo when they were passing by Chachra area of Narail upazila by a motorbike, said the court's PP Advocate Imdadul Islam.

Later, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Oliul Islam of Sadar Police Station filed a case against them.
