DHAKA: The Supreme Court fixed March 27 to pass an order on a petition filed by the BGMEA seeking a year time for demolishing its 15-storey building in Dhaka.  

Bangladesh Garment manufacturers and Exporters Associations (BGMEA) constructed the building illegally on Begunbari and Hatirjheel Lake area in Dhaka.

A four-member bench of the Appellate Division fixed the date for passing order as hearing on the petition ended on Saturday (March 25).

Advocate Quamrul Haque Siddiqui moved for the BGMEA.
