DHAKA:  Sayed Abu Bakar Siddiq, BNP candidate for Dhaka-14 constituency, filed a case with Darussalam police station over the attack on Jatiya Oikyafront leader Dr Kamal Hossain’s motorcade.

The case, no: 24, was filed at 1:30 am on Sunday (December 16).

12 persons of Secha Sebok League, Jubo League and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were made accused in the case.

”We’re taking immediate steps about the case filed over the attack on Dr Kamal Hossain’s motorcade,” Selim Uddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Darussalam police station, told Banglanews.

Earlier, the motorcade of Dr Kamal Hossain was allegedly attacked at the Martyred Intellectuals Mausoleum on Friday (December 14). 

Miscreants attacked Dr Kamal’s motorcade while he was coming out from the Mausoleum after paying homage to the martyrs.
