DHAKA: Awami League-backed white panel candidate Advocate AM Aminuddin takes president post of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and BNP backed blue panel candidate Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon  bagged the post of secretary.

SCBA election sub committee convener AY Moshiuzzaman declared the results at hall room of SCBA bhaban around 12:00pm.

Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya (Blue Panel)’s Abdul Baten and Bangabandhu Awami Ainjibi Parishad (White Panel)’s Md Jasim Uddin was elected in the posts of vice president.

However, blue panel’s Md Imam Uddin bagged treasurer post,

Besides, while panel’s Kazi Shamsul Hasan Shuvo and blue panel’s Sharif U Ahmed bagged the posts of assistant secretaries.

The two-day voting was held at Shaheed Shafiur Rahman Auditorium of SCBA from10am-5pm on Wednesday and Thursday, with a one-hour break each under the supervision of a sub committee for election, headed by AY Moshiuzzaman.
