DHAKA: Four persons were sentenced to life in prison for killing a man in Savar.

Judge Monir Kamal of the Speedy Trial Tribunal-3 of Dhaka gave the order as well as fined them each Taka 20,000 on Wednesday (June 19).

The convicts were- Lenin dealer, Shahabuddin Darzi, Rezaul Bepari, and MM Faisal Ahmed. Among them, Rezaul Bepari is absconding.

The deceased --Ohiduzzaman Ahid--was a M.A. final year student of Government Nazim Uddin University College in Madaripur and a second year student of Bangabandhu Law College.

Ahid’s body was recovered on March 6 of 2013.

Being the plaintiff, Sub Inspector (SI) A Salam filed a case with Singair Police Station.
