BARGUNA: A court here set July 30 for the next hearing in the petition filed for bail to sensational Rifat Sharif murder case witness-turned-accused Ayesha Siddiqa Minni.

Judge Md Asaduzzaman of Barguna District and Sessions Judge's Court fixed the date Tuesday (July 23). 

Barguna Senior Judicial Magistrate Court earlier rejected a bail plea of Minni. Kamrul Ahsan Saimun, another accused in the same case, was denied bail at the same court on Tuesday.

Minni was sent to jail on Friday (July 19) after she had confessed to her involvement in killing her husband Rifat Sharif in Barguna sadar upazila.

She made the confession before the senior judicial magistrate court on the second day of her five-day remand.
