DHAKA: The High Court directed deputy commissioners (DCs), superintendents of police (SPs) and other authorities concerned to continue protocol facilities for the persons supposed to be given so as per the constitution, Warrant of Precedence and existing laws.  

The bench of Justice Obaidul Hassan and Justice Mohammad Ali issued the order on Wednesday (August 7), following hearing of a writ petition filed by lawyer Shahinur Rahman.

Registrar general of the Supreme Court was asked to send district judges copies of the HC order.

Lawyers Ikramul Huq tutul, Syed Mamun Mahbub and Tapos Kumar Biswas moved for the plea while Deputy Attorney General Amit Talukder for the state, at the courtroom.
