DHAKA: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against sub-registrar of Pirganj Upazila under Rangpur district for amassing wealth from unknown sources.
ACC spokesman Pranab Kumer Bhattacharya said the case was filed at ACC integrated district office in Rangpur on Thursday (October 10).
ACC spokesman said ACC’s assistant director Md. Jahangir Alam filed the case. The case number is 6.
According to ACC allegation statement, the accused acquired wealth worth TK 2 crore through illegal means. The case was filed on charges of giving false, groundless information to ACC as well acquisition of wealth.
