Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun said there are no security threats ahead of Pahela Baishakh and Eid.

He also said that the highest security measures will be taken during Mangal Shobhajatra.

He was addressing media after inspecting security measures at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex in the capital on Monday (April 10).

The IGP said all-out security measures have been taken at all markets and shopping malls ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr and Pahela Baishakh.
