Ex-Justice Badrul Haque passes away

DHAKA: Former Justice of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court Barrister Badrul Haque (Bachchu) died due to old age complexity early Sunday. He was 72.

He breathed his last in city’s Apollo Hospitals at 4:20am.

His Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at Supreme Court premises on Monday after Zohr prayer.

Barrister Badrul was born in September 26 in 1941 in Patuakhali district. He completed his BA and MA in History from University of Dhaka. Later, he achieved LLB degree from the same university.

He became the member of East-Pakistan bar-council in 1970. After that he joined at High Court in 1976 and as a lawyer at Appellate Division in 1989.

Badrul was appointed as a Justice of High Court Division in 1996 and worked at his respective workplace for 20-year with dignity.
