SATKHIRA: Activists of Jamaat and Shibir attacked motorcade of newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) and District Workers Party general secretary Advocate Mustafa Lutfullah on Monday noon.

Sources said Jamaat-Shibir activists put barricade on the road and blasted cocktails aiming motorcade of Lutfullah, while he was visiting Jugokhali Union of Kalaroa upazila around 01:15pm.

Meanwhile, culprits fled the scene as police men opened fire to bring the situation under control.

Officer-in-Charge of Kalaroa Thana Shah Dara Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
