The body of a young journalist was recovered among the 46 fatalities of the fire at building at Bailey Road.

Abhishruti Sharsti, was a staff correspondent at Thereport.live.

The deceased was identified by her colleague Golam Rabbani, chief reporter of Thereport.live at 12:30pm at the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute on Friday (Mar 1).

He said, "We learned that Abhishruti was missing. Her phone was switched off since last night."

Later, the authorities at the Burn Institute informed that a female body was at their morgue, he said.

"We rushed to the spot and identified her by seeing different religious bracelets on her hands," Golam said.

“We have informed her family, they will soon reach,” he added.
