PM urges for recovery losses

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked the ministers and bureaucrats to work unitedly for a recovery of the post violence period of recent political unrest created by BNP-Jamaat men.

The premier came up with the plea in the first cabinet meeting on Thursday.

People are not afraid of Jamaat-BNP panic as the national poll was fair. Mentioning the ups and downs of her political life, she said, “I am happy with the situation at this moment.”

The premier also asked to work to recover the losses, created by BNP-Jamaat men recently. She further criticised the falsehood of BNP-Jamaat leaders and requested people to get rid of it.

All ministers were present except Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed in the meeting session.

However, the premier also showed her interest to work together with the main opposition party and MPs for country’s betterment.

Sheikh Hasian, also the ruling Awami League president, exchanged greetings with the ministers, state ministers, deputy ministers and secretaries at the meeting.
