MANIKGANJ: Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia water way resumed on Friday morning after a seven-hour halt due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.

Confirming the matter, Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) Paturia Ferry Ghat Assistant Manager Salauddin Russell (commercial) told banglanews, “The ferries, which remained stranded in the mid Padma with vehicles, have started to move towards their destinations at around 9:00am.”
Earlier on Thursday, the BIWTC authorities halted ferry service on the route at 2:00am to avoid accident.
