The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has condemned the recent threats against several media outlets in Bangladesh.

A statement was issued in this regard on Thursday (Oct 24).

According to statement, the ministry reiterated that the current interim government firmly believes in media freedom.

Action will be taken according to law if the media is threatened and besieged, said the statement said.
