The special train has been scheduled to leave Rohanpur station in Chapainawabganj district at 9.15 am and to reach Tejgaon station in Dhaka at 5.20 pm.

It will ply on every Saturday, he added saying that the carrying cost of per kilogram of goods has been fixed at Taka 1.30.

From the starting point the train will have 13 intervals at Nachole, Amnura, Kakonhat, Rajshahi, Sardah Road, Arani, Abdulpur, Azimnagar, Ishwardi Bypass, Chatmohar, Boral Bridge, Joydevpur and Dhaka Airport stations.

The train has been launched so that the growers and traders of agricultural goods can avoid the hazards of carrying perishable goods by roads, the sources concerned said.
