1,690 traffic cases filed in DMP drives

The Traffic Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) filed 1,690 cases for traffic law violations in different areas of the capital.

Besides, 50 vehicles were dumped, and 46 were towed during the drives.

Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) of DMP, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed the matter on Wednesday (Nov 21).

The drives were conducted on the same day as part of the ongoing efforts by the DMP Traffic Division to maintain discipline on Dhaka’s roads.
