Education Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud’s remark regarding the upcoming national election is his personal opinion, said Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Apurba Jahangir. 

He made the remark during a press briefing at the Foreign Service Academy on Sunday (Dec 8).

The briefing was attended by Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam and Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumdar, among others.

Apurba Jahangir said, “The Education Adviser shared a personal view yesterday (Saturday) about the election, suggesting it could be held next year. However, this is purely his personal opinion.”
