Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) today (March 2) arrested 30 people of Awmi League, Jubo League, and banned organization Chattra League.

They were arrested from city’s different areas in several drives from Friday (Feb 28) to Saturday (March 1).

Chattogram Metropolitan Police's Media and Public Relations Department Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Imran Hossain confirmed the matter.

He said that there are multiple cases against the accused under the Special Powers Act and the Anti-Terrorism Act, including attacks on students and the public during the anti-discrimination student movement.
