Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus is set to visit China on March 27 on a special flight sent by Chinese President Xi Jinping. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the matter on Thursday (March 6). 

During the visit, Dr. Yunus is likely to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping on March 28.

China invited the CA to attend the Boao Forum for Asia conference, which will take place in Hainan province from March 25 to 28. After Bangladesh gave the green signal, the visit was finalized.

Earlier, Foreign Affairs Adviser Touhid Hossain visited China from January 20 to 24 on his first bilateral trip. Dr. Yunus’s visit follows that diplomatic engagement.
