The Police Headquarters has launched a special hotline service to prevent violence against women, including assault, harassment, eve-teasing, and sexual abuse.

In a press release on Monday (March 10), AIG (Media and Public Relations) of Police Headquarters, Inamul Haque Sagar, confirmed the matter.

He said that Bangladesh Police follows a zero-tolerance policy against violence towards women and children and is committed to taking legal action against offenders.

Additionally, the Police Cyber Support for Women Facebook page remains active to provide legal assistance and protection to women facing cybercrimes.

The hotline service will be available 24/7, allowing women to seek immediate police assistance. Authorities urged victims not to hesitate in reporting offenders.
