NATORE: Polls in newly formed Naldanga upazila, which consists of five unions of the district, would be held on June 9.

The election commission sources said the polls schedule was signed by deputy secretary Mihir Sarwar Morshed.

The District Election Officer Delwar Hossain said the deadline of submitting nomination papers is May 15. 

According to the schedule, the vetting of nomination papers must be done by May 17 while the withdrawal of nomination paper has to be done by May 25.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sharmin Akter Jahan said the upazila administration is ready to hold a free and fair election in the area.
