FENI: The Detective Branch of Police arrested another accused from Doulat village of the district on Friday afternoon in connection with Fulgazi upazila chairman Ekramul killing.

Abu Bakar, 25, was arrested from his in-law’s house around 4:00 pm.

Officer-in-Charge of Feni DB police Md Rashed Khan confirming the matter to Banglanews said that Bakar is the main accused of the case.

Feni Sadar MP and district Awami League General Secretary Nizam Uddin Hazari’s cousin Abid and Fulgazi Upazila AL 

Joint Secretary Jahid Chowdhury along with 28 people were arrested in this connection. 

Earlier on May 20, in a cinematic style, miscreants shot Ekramul, the upazila Awami League president, and burnt to death at his own car in front of Bilashi Cinema in Academy area of the district town.
