DHAKA: Two people were killed and seven others injured critically in a road accident in Daulatdia union parisad area in Rajbari district on Thursday noon.

The deceased were identified as Sanjay Dutta, 10 and Dulal 39.

Witnesses said that a Faridpur-bound bus collided head on with a passenger-laden human hauler in the area around 1:30pm, leaving Sanjay dead on the spot and eight others injured.

Later, the injured were sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared Dulal dead.

Goalando Thana Officer-in-Charge Abul Bashar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
