JHENAIDAH: A business man was chopped to death by miscreants in Nekurkhidda village under Kaliganj Upazila of the district on Friday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohsen Ali, 35, son of Huzur Ali.

Sources said that the victim was working in his poultry farm in the village at 4:00am. Then some miscreants chopped him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared him dead.

Kaliganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Anwar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
