DHAKA: Bangladesh Biman, the national flag carrier, will re-launch flights to all domestic routes soon after getting aircraft.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon came up with the disclosure to reporters after closing day of DCs conference on Thursday.

He said Biman Bangladesh Airlines will launch its internal flights very soon. For this, it is planning to hire aircrafts by July-August. After getting the aircrafts, domestic routes will be launched.

However, the minister did not mentioned specific time for launching internal routes.

Since last few years, all internal routes of the Biman have remained suspended. Ministers used to give assurance to re-launch the routes but result is zero.

One more private airline-- US Bangla --will start its flight from July 16 to facilitate the passengers of domestic routes, he added.
