They will also take advices of law experts on the issue, he added.
Moreover, the law ministry has been studying the conventional laws regarding judges impeachment. It has already started examining the existing judges impeachment laws in Canada, Australia, Sri Lanka, South Africa and India.
The ministry has also started drafting the law, the minister added.
He expected that the process will be complete soon. ‘Then it will be placed in the cabinet.
But the minister did not assure that whether the law will be passed or not.
According to him, it is not an easy task.
‘It will take time. We are examining the laws of other countries. So that, it cannot make any question in future.’
However, the bill has been passed by the Parliament on September 17 amending the constitution with the aim of returning the power of judges impeachment to the Parliament members after three decades.
