Dhaka: Fire broke out at the Head office of Brac Bank at Gulshan Link road in the city’s Tejgoan industrial area Tuesday morning.

Bank sources said the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the bank at around 11:45am. But within half-an-hour efforts, the bank’s security personnel extinguished the flame with its personal extinguisher.

An official of Fire Brigade Tejgoan branch told banglanews24.com.bd, “Being informed, we rushed to the spot and saw they had already doused the fire.

The fire might have originated from electric short circuit, he said.
