THAKURGAON: Border Security Force (BSF) of India detained two Bangladeshis from Dabri frontier under Haripur upazila on Sunday night.

The detainees were identified as Enamul Haque, 25, son of one Nur Islam, and Hasan Ali, 18, son of one Ismail Ali, residents of Kathaldangi village of the same upazila.

Quoting locals, BGB personnel told banglanews that BSF personnel detained Enamul and Hasan when they entered into Indian Territory near international pillar No. 367.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, acting commander of Thakurgaon-30 BGB Major Rauhid-bin-Ishaq said that they had sent a letter to BSF requesting to return the detainees.
