RMP Commissioner withdrawn

DHAKA: Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner Barrister Mahabubur Rahman has been withdrawn after two days of the murder of Rajshahi University professor Dr AKM Shafiul Islam.

Meanwhile, Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) M Shamsuddin has been appointed as new RMP Commissioner.

Home Ministry on Monday issued an order regarding the appointment.
