Parbatipur(DINAJPUR): Two members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were killed in a road accident on Phulbari-Dinajpur highway in the upazila of the district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Al Amin, 23 and Mohammad Rubel, 24, of Rangamati BGB-29 Battalion.

Locals said that a rashly driven truck ran over a motorcycle on the highway in front of Shanto-Kanto Rice Mill around 2:15pm, killing the BGB personnel on the spot.

BGB-29 Battalion assistant director Matiur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
